1. Why out topic is a Human Rights Issue/ Why you should care

Freedom of expression in Peru and the rest of the world is a human rights issue because it refers to the right to express one's thoughts, as well as to receive and give information and ideas, without hindrance from the government or geographical boundaries. You should be concerned about this because having the freedom to express one's ideas and interact with others affirms each person's value and worth in society and enables them to reach their full potential.

2. What we're hoping to achive

We want to emphasize that everyone deserves the freedom to express themselves, particularly the people of Peru. We also want Peruvians to continue their struggle for freedom.

3. What you can do to participate in creating awareness

By raising awareness of freedom of expression, you can take part. You can also inform people about Peru's struggles so they are aware of what is happening. Additionally, you can express your own opinions about the matter on social media.

4. What the media can do to help further awareness

In the United States, where freedom is highly valued, the media has generally presented freedom of expression fairly. But the rest of the world is different because Freedom isn’t valued in some countries.We contend that the media unfairly portrays freedom of expression because Peru is one of those nations that does not place a high value on it.
